Privacy Policy

01What the app stores

• The shop's records, products and stock, sales and invoices, accounts, suppliers, employees and their roles, are stored on the manager's device.
• Photos of products or suppliers that you take or pick are saved inside the app on that device.
• Messages sent in the in-app chat between the shop's devices are kept on those devices.
• Settings such as language, theme and invoice options are stored on each device.

02What passes between the shop's devices

• Sync: employees' devices connect to the manager's device over the shop's Wi-Fi, and changes travel between them directly. The connection stays inside the local network.
• Joining: an employee's device sends its name and a device identifier to the manager's device, so the manager can approve it.
• Nothing is sent to BinAref or to any other server.

03Permissions

Camera to scan barcodes and take product photos, processed on the device. Network / Wi-Fi to connect the shop's devices on the local network. Photos from the gallery come through the system's photo picker, and files are opened or saved through the system's file window, so StoreX has no access to your other photos or files.

04Third-party services

StoreX uses no third-party services, no advertising and no analytics. Printing goes to the printer you choose, through the system's print service.

05Your control

• Edit or delete any product, invoice, supplier or employee from within the app.
• Export your data to Excel or PDF, and keep or delete those files like any other file.
• Signing out on the manager's device stops the shop's local server and disconnects the employees.
• Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on that device.

06Children's privacy

StoreX is a business tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information for us from anyone.

07Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will show when it changed.
