01Data we collect

Jarak is a neighbour-to-neighbour marketplace, so it needs some data to connect buyers and sellers:

• Account: your name and email when you sign in with Google or Apple.
• Profile: country of residence, current location (country/city/area), and an optional photo.
• Store data (sellers): store name, products, sections, and plan.
• Content: chat messages, orders, reviews, and posted requests.
• Location: only when you share it in chat or to filter nearby stores, you stay in control.
• Push token: to deliver notifications.
• Technical data: basic device and OS information.

02How we use it

• Run the marketplace and connect buyers with home-based sellers.
• Show products and stores near you based on your location.
• Send message, order, and review notifications.
• Improve the service, keep it secure, and prevent abuse.

03Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your data. We use trusted providers only to operate the app:

• Supabase, database hosting and backend services.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), push notifications.
• Google / Apple, sign-in.
• App Store / Google Play, in-app subscriptions and purchases.

04Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Chat and support logs are removed after defined retention windows. Deleting your account removes its associated data.

05Account & data deletion

You can delete your account and data anytime in the app: Settings → Profile → Delete account (requires typing your name to confirm). This removes your account, stores, products, chats, and reviews.

Or email us to request deletion at [email protected] and we will process it within a reasonable time.

06Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, though no internet transmission is 100% secure.

07Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will post the updated version here with its date.
