About the project
Many good things are sold a few streets away without anyone nearby knowing: a home kitchen, a tailor, a small shop, someone making soap or sweets. Jarak brings them onto one map of your area. Listings are ranked by distance from where you are, so the nearest offers come first, and you can search and filter by category to find what you need quickly. When something catches your eye, message the seller directly in the app to ask a question or arrange the purchase. Sellers get a simple way to reach the people who live around them, without the cost or noise of a large marketplace. Jarak runs in the browser at jarak.binaref.com and is currently in beta.
