Voice Scroll
About the project
There are moments when touching the phone is not practical: cooking with a recipe open, reading a long document, following a video tutorial, or living with a condition that makes swiping hard. Voice Scroll lets you navigate with spoken commands instead. It works on top of almost any app, browsers, readers, social feeds, and understands commands to scroll up or down, swipe to the next item, and zoom in or out, moving the view automatically to keep the zoomed area in sight. Scrolling can run continuously until you say stop or reach the end of the page. Every command word and the scrolling speed can be changed to suit you, and recognition happens on the device, so it is fast and nothing you say leaves the phone. Voice Scroll is an early prototype.
